Livewire is an exciting new function band from the North East. The six piece line-up features Female Lead Vocalist, Keyboards/Male Lead Vocalist, Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums and Trumpet.

The ensemble prides itself on its vast repertoire and range enabling us to deliver the ideal mix of styles to suit every occasion. Whether you want to ‘bop’ to the swinging sounds of the 20’s, 30’s and 40’s or dance the night away to classic rock anthems and soulful Motown hits, Livewire guarantee to make your evening unforgettable. This young dynamic band (average age of just 23!) have collectively worked throughout the British Isles, Europe and the United States working with an array of talented musicians including Brian Johnson (ACDC), Tim Healy, Marcus Roberts, Brendan Healy, Denise Welch, Frankie Gibbon of Lindisfarne, and most recently supporting the delightful Girls Aloud for the 20th Anniversary Dinner of the Rainbow Trust Charity. Individually, our musicians have built up enviable reputations as some of the most talented and reliable in the Northeast and have appeared on TV and Radio, as well as recitals with various Jazz Bands and Orchestras. Whether it is cool moods or banging anthems you are after, you will be impressed by the professionalism and energetic performance provided by this dedicated and courteous band.
